Isaac was diagnosed in utero with Agenesis of the corpus callosum and ventriculomegaly. Early in pregnancy he also had a cystic hygroma that had resolved. At the beginning of the third trimester, I ended up having low fluid, and he suffered from intrauterine growth restriction and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. He is currently 5 months old with hypotonia, and uses an NG tube for all feedings. He is one of the sweetest and easy going babies we have ever met, despite all of his challenges. He is facing his first surgery in early December to repair a hernia, urological issues, and place a g tube. He is so loved by our precious community of friends and family, and has been the greatest blessing to our lives!
