Lucy is our PKS angel. She has a fun, happy personality. Lucy loves Peppa Pig, Legos, and singing. Lucy is verbal, but has a hard time with sporadic communication. She is a hard worker with an incredible focus. Lucy wasn’t diagnosed with PKS until her one-year-old well checkup. Her pediatrician stated, “I think she has Down Syndrome.” From there we went through genetic testing and found Lucy’s diagnosis of Pallister-Killian Syndrome. Since then Lucy has also been diagnosed with autism and has benefited from ABA therapy in our home. We are grateful for the friendships we’ve made through our PKS support group and those of you who support us as well!
