In addition to 8p23.1 deletion, Lily has multiple disabilities including Ataxic Cerebral Palsy, Autism level 3; vision impairment; epilepsy; dysphagia; lung disease of prematurity; and a couple others sprinkled in the mix to add some spice to my feisty 3 and a half year old. She is rare because she is the strongest and most determined toddler I know. She just started walking in July of this year. Since then, she has started to explore social play with peers and as of this week, started to show interest in real food by putting it on her lips. I’m so proud of my Lily girl!
