Isaac is a strong little guy who has faced many challenges head on. He was born missing the midline of his brain, called the Corpus Callosum, so there is no way for the two hemispheres to communicate with each other. He was also born with a brain injury from lack of amniotic fluid at the end of pregnancy. He has hypotonia, which prevents him from crawling or walking. He also is totally tube fed due to a swallowing disorder. In his short life he has had 6 surgeries, and has two more procedures on the schedule for this year. He is so loved by his big brothers, and charms everyone he meets with his happy demeanor and cute smile. He doesn’t let anything bring him down, and has amazed all of us with the progress he makes every single day!
