Chandler has a rare genetic disorder called KCNQ2 Encephalopathy Epilepsy. Chandler is on the severe end of the spectrum requiring 24/7 care from his parents and his nurses. He is monitored 24/7 via pulse ox machine, requires oxygen while sleeping or during seizures, is fed 22 hours a day through his GJ feeding tube, requires frequent suctioning, and help with everyday cares.
