Briar is a sweet, mostly happy little boy. He’s non verbal and unable to walk- yet! He enjoys going to school, going on walks and watching his favorite shows.
There has yet to be another person with the exact same translocation as there are so many different components to chromosomes! He was born with hydrocephalus and has a VP Shunt. He is fed via gtube which is a life saver! Briar almost lost his life last December while having Covid- he had continuous seizures, went into respiratory arrest and had to be placed into a medically induced coma for 2 weeks. He made a remarkable recovery and we are so thankful God performed a miracle.
