Berkley was our firstborn and rocked our world for the better. At the time of her diagnosis and our five month hospital stay when she was born, my husband and I struggled with the loss of our dreams for her. Now, eight years later, I wouldn’t change her for anything. I am who I am because of her, and she has changed lives by simply existing.
