Duet was diagnosed with BPAN in December of 2021, she is nonverbal and developmentally delayed, she is physically awkward when she walks, she wears AFOs to help her balance and correct the pronation of her feet. Her condition aside, she is the most loving and social little girl. We are blessed to be parents traveling this journey alongside her. I truly hope that a treatment or cure will be discovered in her lifetime so that the degeneration phase of her disease can be stopped and thus her lifespan will be lengthened with a better quality of life:
